Passing through on the Panamericana: where to stop in Nazca
Thousands of travelers cross Nazca on the Pan-American Highway heading to Lima, Arequipa, Cusco or Paracas. If you're one of them, this post is for you: how to make a good stop without wasting time.
Don't stay on the highway
On the Pan-American the spaces are limited and it's a transit vibe. Our advice: drive the few blocks into the Plaza de Armas. It's safe, pleasant and everything's close.
A stop worth making
Facing the square is El Adriano: specialty coffee, breakfast, lunch and clean restrooms to stretch your legs. We open from 7:30 AM, ideal to start or break up the trip.
Got a couple of extra hours?
If you have time to spare, use it: the Lines viewpoint is minutes away, or see more things to do in Nazca. Passing at night? Here's a plan.

We're at Callao 793, one block from the main square. Good coffee, good food and a welcome break halfway through the trip.
