Pisco in Nazca: varieties and where to try it on the square
You're in southern Peru, pisco country. It'd be a shame to pass through Nazca without trying it properly. Here's a short guide —and the perfect place for a calm night facing the square.
The varieties worth knowing
Peruvian pisco has several styles: quebranta (smooth, the base of the Pisco Sour), the aromatics like Italia and Torontel, the acholado (a blend) and mosto verde. Each one completely changes the glass.
How to try it: from Sour to Chilcano
If you're starting out, the Pisco Sour is the classic; the Chilcano (pisco, ginger ale and lime) is fresh and easy; and the Pisco Mojito adds a twist. At El Adriano we make them as part of our signature cocktails.
Where: facing the main square, with music
The ideal plan: a calm night, good music and a well-made pisco, facing Nazca's main square. We're open until 12:30 AM, so there's no rush.

We're at Callao 793. See also what to do in Nazca at night or the full menu.
